Welcome to the East Cobb Alliance, a multi-partisan grassroots coalition of residents and businesses who share a common vision – there is no need to create more government in East Cobb!

Our leadership team, along with hundreds of concerned citizens, has been working to educate and inform voters who will be determining the fate of this proposal.

The coalition began organizing in early 2019. ECA’s efforts during 2019 successfully delayed the initial bill in 2020, where it died in the House Governmental Affairs Committee without a hearing. With the revamped effort to push a vote on a portion of East Cobb’s residents, we are re-dedicating our efforts to educate voters on the truth and impacts of incorporating a portion of East Cobb.

ECA’s leaders include:

Robert (Bob) Lax is a Managing Director with Accenture, where he is presently Accenture’s South Cloud Lead. Over his 30 years with Accenture, Bob has held a variety of North America leadership roles. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Christian Brothers University. He is active on a number of industry and non-profit boards in the Atlanta area, and has been a resident of East Cobb for 24 years.

Eileen Lichtenfeld is a 15-year resident of Heartwood in East Cobb. She is a former CPA and a recently retired marketing professional, having spent 13 years with The Weather Channel, along with other high tech companies. Eileen is the former president of the GA Chapter of the Lymphoma Research Foundation, and pursues a newfound passion in watercolor painting.

Mindy Seger holds a BBA/Accounting degree from Kennesaw State University and has worked in corporate accounting for many years. She has lived in East Cobb since 2006. Mindy and her husband are raising two school-aged children, along with their Boxer (who’s really in charge). Mindy is committed to the community in which she is raising her family, a second generation growing up in beautiful East Cobb.
